Lori teaches movement improvisation, dance pedagogy, dance literacy, and modern technique. She holds an M.F.A. in choreography and performance from The Ohio State University and a certification in Laban Movement Studies. As a contemporary choreographer and performer she blends together a study of contact improvisation, improvisational performance, and body awareness techniques.

Her choreography has been produced throughout the southeast as well as Scotland, Russia and the Republic of Georgia. Her authenticity has been an invitation for fifteen choreographic commissions for college programs, modern companies, school art programs, and performing arts high schools.

Teague serves as President of Dance Educators of Georgia, develops outreach dance programming for Emory Dance on Tour, The Teacher Training Institute, and Dynamic Exchange to further the partnership of movement and empowerment.
